My name is Marilyn Pryce Hoytt.
I am an author, mother, businesswoman, retired Tuskegee University French instructor, and founder of Pryce Learning Systems, Inc.
As a student at Spelman College, I majored in drama and minored in French. In 1961 I received a prestigious scholarship to study in Paris, France. I also lived and worked in Ethiopia.
I grew up in Tuskegee Institute, Alabama, on the campus of the historic HBCU, and was inspired by the Tuskegee spirit of service, dedication, and history.
I cherish the rich legacy of Tuskegee. It has followed me through my life's voyages, including my unique experiences overseas in France and Ethiopia.
As a foot soldier in the Civil Rights era, I primarily focus on life during the 1960s.
I understand that everyone's point of view in life is different. As I add to the work available on MarilynPryceHoytt.com other stories will appear that include diverse perspectives.
